Brij ka samudaay puri tarah se gaay ke chaaron taraf ghoomta hai.
Unka dharm, unke rivaaz, unka jeevan – sab kuch gaay ke prati shraddha par aadharit hai.
Inhi sab vicharon se milkar banta hai Brij, jiska arth hi hota hai – “chalna”.
Isliye Brij ek aisa samudaay hai jo ek jagah thama hua nahi, balki jeevant hai, ghoomta rehta hai, aur uski sanskriti mein har pal jeevan hai.
Aaiye ab dekhein ek pramukh prasang – Makhanchor Krishna ki kahaani, jahan chori bhi prem ka madhyam ban jaati hai.
Krishna ki maa meva, badam aur kaju laati hai, lekin Krishna kehte hain:
“Maiya! Mohe makkhan bhaave, ye meva-pakwaan nahin.”
Yahaan ek gahri baat chhupi hai – meva raajsi cheez hai, jabki Brij ka samudaay gopon aur gau mata ke aaspaas hai.
Unka sachcha swaad hai – makkhan.
Jab ek Brij ki yuva gopika, Krishna ke mukh se makkhan ke prati prem sunti hai, to uske mann mein ek kalpana jagti hai:
“Kaash ek din Krishna mere ghar aayen, aur mera makkhan khayein.”
Yahi se prem ka beej padta hai – bina shabdon ke, bas bhaavnaon mein.
Krishna sach mein us gwaalin ke ghar chhupke aate hain.
Wo makkhan churaane aate hain, lekin asli chori kya hoti hai?
Gwaalin ka mann!
“Chori se joda gaya ek ghar, ek rishta, ek naya sambandh”
Wo gwaalin jinke ghar chori hoti hai, wo dukhi nahi hoti – wo to anandit hoti hai.
“Fooli-firat gwaalin, puchhein sakhiyaan – kya mil gaya tujhe?”
Gwaalin kehti hai – “Jaise koi gehna mil gaya ho zameen pe pada hua!”
Yahaan chori ek aisi bhavna ban jaati hai jisme sukh hi sukh hai.
Krishna jab makkhan kha rahe hote hain, to unhe apna pratibimb dikhta hai aur wo soch lete hain:
“Arey! Tu bhi kha le, chori toh mil baant ke honi chahiye.”
Is bholapan mein bhi ek sundar sandesh hai – khushi baantne se badhti hai.
Yeh jo makkhan chori hai – wo sirf ek leela nahi, wo maanav sambandh ka, ek ras ka, ek prem ka prakash hai.
Surdas ji ke kavitva mein har chori ek rishta jodti hai, har muskaan ek nayi pehchaan deti hai.
“Chori hai, par chhupi hui hai usmein wo bhaav – jo ek insaan ko doosre se jodta hai.”
“Yeh Brij ka asli ras hai – ek insaan ko doosre insaan ke sukh mein sukh milna.”
